Adult Programs

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT TREATMENT

If the client does not require inpatient care or detoxification, they are referred directly to our adult intensive outpatient program. During this level of care the client participates in frequent group and individual counseling sessions that are supplemented by educational presentation concerning the major aspects of the addictive illness. The objective of this level of treatment to have the client move toward accepting their

addictive illness, therefore , enhancing their motivation for recovery and demonstrating ongoing abstinence from alcohol and drugs.

After a client has finished our intensive outpatient program he/she is then referred to our continuing recovery group. This group is less intensive and is designed to insure a clients' on going recovery. While in this group the client continues to work on problems in their day-to-day life that may arise and jeopardize recovery.

The objectives of this level of treatment is to increase the clients awareness of personal, family and social aspects of the addictive illness, developing healthy coping skills and building solid support system for continued recovery.
