New Life Recovery Center’s Adolescent Outpatient Program begins with the initial assessment. Our licensed and certified counselors will meet with the adolescent and then speak with the parent or guardian to ensure all information is collected to determine the appropriate recommendation. Our programs for adolescents provide comprehensive and intensive care in an outpatient setting. This level of care is focused, structured, and convenient as clients continue to live at home, attend school, as well as extracurricular activities, while attending treatment. Our Outpatient Program runs from 16-24 weeks and integrates group therapy, individual sessions, formal lectures, as well as weekly multi-family group at no additional cost. Family Group is a significant part of our program as statistics show that family involvement leads to a higher success rate in positive outcomes.
We also offer an Early Intervention Program which focuses on prevention, education, refusal skills, as well as communication skills. This program is a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks.
Our licensed and certified counselors have over 30 years of experience in the treatment field.

Group therapy is the preferred treatment for adolescents recognizing that teens respond to one another before they respond to the adults in their lives.
Group therapy helps the adolescent to effectively participate in their recovery while building self-esteem and refusal skills. The relationships developed in the group are an important agent of change.
Each teen recognizes his or her unique capabilities and potential. The Adolescent Program is a state certified, abstinence based program.
The involvement of the family is an integral part of the program. Family support for, and involvement therapy, is key to the Adolescent’s success. Multi-family group weekly meetings helps enhance communication while developing clear and healthy boundaries. The teens and their loved ones receive support in a non-threatening environment.
We will have private one on one meetings with individuals.
